WINTER FLAME 2025
"Winter Flame" is now firmly established as the band's biggest annual event and has grown even more impressive with additional pipe bands wanting to join in the festivities. Who wouldn't want to march proudly, wearing a kilt, in massed band formation playing pipes and drums with the atmospheric torches blazing?
The event is held mid-June to coincide with the Winter solstice celebrations and we seek the assistance of volunteers to act as bearers to carry the torches during the parade. As expected, this is a very important part of the parade and we require participants be over the age of 18 for safety reasons. We have responsible marshals in attendance before and after the parade, to handle the lighting and also extinguishing of the torches.
