The band will be busy on Friday playing at ANZAC Day commemoration ceremonies throughout the Barossa and surrounding districts. We will have solo pipers performing at Dawn Services at Tanunda, Gawler, Nuriootpa and Kapunda. Some band members will be attending the march and Dawn Service at Freeling and also the march in Tanunda stepping off mid-morning.
We are extremely proud to be honouring our veterans, past and present. The bravest souls who made the ultimate sacrifice for the lifestyle we enjoy here in Australia.

WINTER FLAME 2025
"Winter Flame" is now firmly established as the band's biggest annual event and has grown even more impressive with additional pipe bands wanting to join in the festivities. Who wouldn't want to march proudly, wearing a kilt, in massed band formation playing pipes and drums with the atmospheric torches blazing?
The event is held mid-June to coincide with the Winter solstice celebrations and we seek the assistance of volunteers to act as bearers to carry the torches during the parade. As expected, this is a very important part of the parade and we require participants be over the age of 18 for safety reasons. We have responsible marshals in attendance before and after the parade, to handle the lighting and also extinguishing of the torches. If you are interested in being part of this unique event, please contact us via email at info@barossapipeband.com.au or message us here on FB. ... See MoreSee Less

Gillian Bow-Bolton
The band received an email this morning from Barossa Co-op informing us of a very generous donation coming our way after applying in the recent round of sponsorship/donations. We would like to acknowledge and show our appreciation to the Barossa Co-op for their support of local community organisations.
The band is a non-for-profit organisation and we rely on donations and membership fees to keep us afloat.
We are the only pipe band in the Barossa and surrounds and we are often out and about in the community, playing for such events as ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day commemorations, and you've probably seen us at a Christmas parade or three during the festive season.
If you would like to support the band, you can become an Associate Member for $25 p/a. Contact us here or email us at info@barossapipeband.com.au ... See MoreSee Less
